magical Christmas trails designed especially for families. From elf hunts in historic houses to
character-based quests and playful park adventures, these child-friendly trails are a great way

This Christmas SEA LIFE Manchester is joining Snowy on a mission to try and help the animals of the North Pole and they need your help.
You will tasked to take on the challenges, find the answers, learn about the oceans and have loads of fun at SEA LIFE

Sunday 7th December 2025
The big Manchester Christmas Parade is back for 2025.
This free festive event will see performances, puppets and more take to the streets of Manchester City Centre for a parade that is expected to take up to an hour.
Along with the big parade, there will also be a pop-up Santa’s Grotto where you can get a voucher for a free hot chocolate.

From 22 November to 24 December 2025, families can step into a magical “Gingerbread Land & Enchanted Forest”,
journey through the Merry Makers Studio and meet Santa himself for a magical photo and personalised gift.
Great for little ones and a fun addition to a shopping day out.
Running weekends from 29 Nov plus daily from 20–24 Dec 2025, this festive farm-themed Santa experience includes a North Pole toy-shop visit, elf village, reindeer, and more — a full day of festive fun for children and adults.

If you don’t mind a drive outside of Manchester, check out the Indoor Funfair in Liverpool.
They have over 25 rides with options for all ages, from thrill rides such as Fusion, family favourites including the Dodgems and smaller carousel rides.
Tickets are via wristbands for 3-hour time slots, morning, afternoon and evening. Ticket prices range from £10.99 to £15.99, depending on the time and if you book in advance.

Another fun festive day out away from Manchester is Blackpool’s Christmas By The Sea.
There will be a festive village including a free ice rink, light projection shows, festive fairground rides, simulated snowfalls, a snow slide and lots of festive food.
You can also enjoy Blackpool Illuminations and tram rides will be available.
The event will run from 12.00 noon to 9.00 pm daily except on Christmas Day.
