Head to a magical land of wonder and enchantment where dreams do come true.

Assisted by Santa’s Elves, families will embark on an adventure through the Gingerbread Land and Enchanted Forest, the Merry Makers Studio and Santa’s study, before seeing the big man himself.

The experience includes:

Write a letter to Santa
Help keep the Cheer-o-Meter buzzing with elf fun
Join the Cheer Task Force with fun challenges
Seal the letters to Santa with the special seal
See Santa in his Grotto for a personalised visit.

Do you get a gift from Santa at the Trafford Centre Grotto?

Yes! Each child will receive a special age-appropriate gift from Santa at the Trafford Centre.

There will also be a pop-up gift shop to purchase further memorabilia to help mark the visit.

Can You Take Photos At The Trafford Centre, The Grotto?

You are able to take your own photos with Sant, and professional photos will also be available.

However, photo merchandise is available for you to purchase after your visit, from the Christmas Market.

How Long Does the Santa The Grotto Experience Take?

The Grotto at The Trafford Centre is expected to take 30 minutes.

However, it is recommended to allow for additional time for arrival, looking at the photographs, etc.

You should aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot.

When will Santa be at the Trafford Centre?

The Grotto will be at the Trafford Centre from Saturday, 22nd November 2025.

It will run from

Fridays to Sundays until 30th November 2025
Thursdays to Sundays from 4th to 14th December 2025
Monday 15th to Wednesday 24th December 2025

Tickets to see Santa at The Grotto cost;

£27 for children
£9.50 for adults
free for babies in arms, but only with siblings, and there will be no gift/letter given. If no other children will be present, you will need a full ticket for them.
