Review Dream Seekers Dolls – AD

Dream Seekers Doll Zara in front of other toys in a toy shop

AD – The new Dream Seeker Dolls have flown onto the toy shop shelves. Discover these beautiful rag dolls and what we thought in our review here.

The Dream Seekers are magical friends who love to share their dreams and inspire kids to follow theirs.

We were kindly gifted Dream Seekers Zara for the purpose of an honest review. We asked our Mum On The Go reviewer Gemma and her nine-year-old daughter to check them out and here is what they thought.

Review Of Dream Seekers Dolls

My daughter has always preferred rag style dolls to the plastic versions and she was very excited when I told her about the new Dream Seeker Dolls and even more so when she saw Zara wearing a pretty purple dress – which is her favourite colour.

Discover everything you need to know and what we thought of the Dream Seeker Dolls here.

What Are Dream Seeker Dolls?

Dream Seeker Dolls are beautiful fairies inspired by traditional ragdolls. With a soft face and body and long posable arms and legs, they will become a child’s best friend with who they can share their hopes and dreams with.

What Dream Seeker Doll Characters Are Available?

Review Dream Seekers Dolls what are dream seekers

There are four beautiful Dream Seeker fairies to collect.

Luna, the dancer who will stop at nothing until she reaches her dream! She believes that confidence can help everyone achieve their dreams and sports a white dress to compliment her feathery wings; Bella an animal lover who dreams that all animals will be treated with love and kindness, all whilst wearing a cute kitty t-shirt and spotty skirt.

Hope who is always beaming with colour and positivity! She dreams that everyone can find their own rainbow of happiness! Her love of rainbows is clearly seen in her cloud dress, colourful wings and muiltcoured hair; and Zara a free spirit, who believes and dreams that everyone has the freedom to be their own kind of beautiful. Her magical outfit reflects this in its delicate floral design and butterfly motifs. She is the newest to the collection and who we were kindly gifted.

The range also includes Dream Bright Stella, who has five different coloured light modes to express her superpowers! Each colour indicates a special power to inspire your dreams when her wings glow!

Dream Seekers Dolls are for children aged five years and over.

Playing with the Dream Seekers Dolls

As as soon as my daughter saw Dream Seekers Zara she couldn’t wait to get her open.

On opening (have scissors to hand, to cut the ties) we discovered a special place for my daughter to write her dream, which Zara will keep safe. She loved doing this, spent ages thinking of a wish, whispering it to Zara along with writing it down and then wouldn’t let me see it to make sure it came true. It was very cute.

Zara herself was also a big hit. My daughter loved that she is soft so perfect for cuddling, whilst being able to sit her up and pose her arms and legs.  Her face is really detailed, has a lovely cute expression and features cute little freckles.

All the Dream Seekers dolls feature a “Dream Mark” on their wrist representing their personality and dreams. My daughter noticed Zara’s ( a butterfly bracelet design) pretty much straight away and asked if she could have one too.

Zara’s hair is really long and silky and can be combed and pinned with the included clips, which of course my daughter loved to do putting her hair in different styles.

She also loved Zara’s skirt and shoes which had little butterflies on the back. She was really excited when she realised that they were both removable which she insisted she did before bedtime so that she could ‘snuggle up’ with her.

However, it was her wings which was her favourite feature. Reflective they appeared to constantly change colour as different light hit them. We’ve never seen anything like it.

What We Thought About The Dream Seekers Dolls

As mentioned above my daughter generally gravitates towards plush/ragdoll styles but we have never seen one like the Dream Seekers range before.

The poseable arms and legs, the long hair with accessories and removable clothes have all helped make the doll a lot more playable than similar dolls that she has.

The dream fairy theme has been a big hit and getting the wings to capture different colours has kept her occupied for some time.

The fact that my daughter can also share her dreams with her new friend is a lovely touch and although she still has not revealed her dream to me I am starting to suspect that it is to get the rest of the Dream Seeker Dolls – watch this space.
