Enjoy a traditional pantomime in Manchester this Christmas as Jack and the Beanstalk onto the Manchester Opera House stage.

Follow as Jack played by Jason Manford, as he is on a mission to save his family with his hilarious younger brother played by panto favourite Ben Nickless. 

Audiences can expect amazing special effects, stunning costumes and beautiful sets along with lots and boos and hisses that all pantos should have.

Charming Productions will be returning to Romiley The Forum Theatre with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Panto.

Follow Snow White as she tries to evade the evil queen meeting some new friends along the way.

You can expect costumes, fantastic dancers and all of your favourite pantomime must-haves. 

Tickets cost between £10.00 each to £18.00 for adults and £16.00 for children plus a booking fee depending on the date.

Follow the feisty Little Red, as she follows the path to Grandma’s house, meeting talking sheep, dancing trees and a jazz-singing, banjo-playing Mr Wolfie along the way.
Can she resist his musical stylings and get safely to Grandma’s house? But is Mr Wolfe the baddie in a world where the woodcutter is chopping down all the trees, is Grandma the ‘trophy-hunter’ really sick?
With irresistible adventure, superb visual storytelling and songs that you’ll be humming all winter, Little Red is the perfect festive treat for all the family.
The show will be running for 55 minutes and is aimed at children aged 4 years and over.
Tickets cost £11.20 for adults and £9.20 for children including the booking fee.

The Snow Queen, Waterside Arts

Join the Waterside and Wrongsemble for the story of Snow Queen who lives at the top of the world and is supposed to control the weather.

But something is wrong, the weather is getting hotter and it hasn’t snowed for years but it seems that Lumi is the only one who has noticed.  The adults don’t seem to have realised that the seasons aren’t behaving.

Realising it is an emergency, Lumi goes on an adventure to take the issue straight to the Snow Queen she has heard so much about.

Follow she heads on a long making new friends – from an overworked elf to a pompous polar bear and as she learns that small changes make a big difference! 

The Snow Queen is aimed at ages from  4-104 and tickets cost from £14.00 to £16.00.

Pre-sale tickets will be on sale from 17th August at 10.00 am

Twinkle Twinkle, Z-Arts Manchester

Children aged 1 to 4 years can enjoy a lovely Christmas show at Z-arts this Christmas 

Follow Marty the puppy, whose songs and play-time with his Dad are the best part of his day. But sometimes, you have to learn how to find the music inside yourself…

Twinkle Twinkle is a heartwarming, adventure in melody and light, featuring brilliant puppetry, magical interaction and an original score.

The show runs for 25 minutes and tickets cost £9.00 per person.

Lost and Found, Aviva Studios, Factory International

Enjoy the world premiere of Oliver Jeffers’ award-winning children’s book, Lost and Found.

If unfamiliar with the book, Lost and Found is a heart-warming, magical story of friendship and loneliness, following the journey of a little boy who one day finds a penguin on his doorstep. 

Follow as the boy tries to find out where the penguin came from and take it home.

You can expect puppetry, video projections, a cast of characters that charm and delight, not to mention a gang of rowdy seagulls and lots of surprises. 

Tickets start at £10 for children and £20 for adults with low-income tickets are available.

The show is aimed at 3 to 8-year-olds.
