If you have been wondering if The National Trust properties are running their Easter Egg Hunts for 2026, the answer is yes.
The National Trust has announced that its annual Easter Egg Hunts are back this Easter.
The start days of the Easter Egg vary, with some events starting as early as 21st March 2026. Families wanting to take part will be able to pick up a pencil and a trial map to follow.
The trail will include nature-inspired activities, and once you complete the trail, you can collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg.
The eggs are made here in the UK using cocoa that’s responsibly sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.
The National Trust Easter Egg Hunts will cost £3.50 to enter, plus an entry fee to the property unless a member.

Dunham Massey, Altrincham
Thursday 26th March to Sunday 19th April 2026
Dunham Massey will be running their Easter Egg Hunt this year for over 4 weeks.
The trail will take you on a hunt around their park and gardens, and along the way, there will be 10 activity stations.

Lyme Park, Stockport
Saturday 21st March to Sunday 12th April 2026
Lyme Park will be running their popular Easter Trail.
Taking place in the Lyme Park Gardens, you will find games and activities as you follow the hunt.
Once you have finished the trail, you will receive a chocolate reward.
Plus, you can make the most of the lovely walks around the 1400 acres and the new Crow Wood Playground.
