How To Play The Pick Up Pete Game

Having never seen a self driving stacking game before the kids were very keen on getting Pick Up Pete open to play.

On opening you need to attach Pete’s top cabin and door, add his stickers and pop in two double AA batteries.

The game is for 2 to 4 players with each player being allocated 6 chairs in one of four colours, with a choice of blue, green, orange, or red.

The aim of the game is for each player to stack their chairs on the back of Pete the pick up truck as drives around in circles. There is no turn taking, players simply place their chairs as quick as they can, with the first player to stack all the chairs being the winner.

If a chair falls when your are stacking you just can just carry on, however, if you cause them all to fall your out.

You can also play a different game of taking turns stacking any colour chair and the first to cause the stack to fall is the loser.

The game is a simple to understand and play and Pete moves around quick enough to make it tricky to stack. Pete’s truck features small holes at the back to fit the chair legs in and make the stack more stable, great for when younger kids are playing. Or simply avoid using them to make it harder for older children and adults.

Review Pick Up Pete easy to play

The game take anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes to play depending on the numbers of players and if only two they can play with 12 chairs each making the game a bit longer.

What We Thought About Pick Up Pete.

Pick Up Pete is a fun little game which the kids really enjoyed.

It is quick and easy play but Pete moving around makes it hard enough to bring out both the kids and adults competitive side and keep everyone interested and entertained.

Being able to make it easier for younger kids is definetly a plus and will make a great option for a family games night.
