Greater Manchester Police Museum
Greater Manchester Police Museum makes a great day out for all the family.
You will be able to check out the cells, discover what a charge room looks like, and check out the range of uniforms that the police have worn over the years.
If that is not enough they also hold courtroom sessions and find a whole host of police transport.
Over Easter holidays you can also help them celebrate 50 years of GMP as you make some birthday bunting or maybe get the chance to take part in a court case.
When is the Greater Manchester Police Museum open over half term

The Greater Manchester Police Museum will be on
- Tuesday 26th May 2026
- Thursday 28th May 2026
The museum will be open from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm.
The last entry is at 3.00 pm.
The museum gets very busy, so it is advised to arrive early.
Do You Need to Book for the Greater Manchester Police Museum?

Entry to the museum is free, and there is no need to book.
If you plan on going into the courtroo,m you do need to pick up a timed entry ticket on arrival.
These are free, but the sessions do book up quickly.
