Tatton Park Easter Events 2026

We love Tatton Park for a fun day, and this April, they have lots of fun Easter events planned including an Easter Trail for 2026.
Here’s what they have in-store.
miffy’s Gardens Scavenger Hunt

Saturday 28th March to Sunday 19th April 2026
Join Tatton Park for springtime surprises with miffy.
Play family garden games and look out for colourful miffy adventures as you enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the new season.
Join the hunt between the 3rd and 6th of April, and you will receive chocolate rewards will be given at the end of the trail (subject to availability).
miff’s Mansion Treasures – Tatton Centre Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday 28th March to Sunday 19th April 2026
Follow miffy into the mansion where cosy corners and sparkling treasures await!
Spot miffy and her colourful easter eggs from the state rooms to the servants’ quarters.
Join the hunt between the 3rd and 6th of April, and you will receive chocolate rewards will be given at the end of the trail (subject to availability).
miffy’s Farm Picnic
Saturday 28th March to Sunday 19th April 2026
Celebrate the joys and new arrivals of spring with miffy.
With cheeping chicks and leaping lambs…collect everything you need for a scrumptious picnic with miffy… and her special farmyard friends!
Join the hunt between the 3rd and 6th of April, and you will receive chocolate rewards will be given at the end of the trail (subject to availability).
The farm is open Tuesday – Sunday 11.00 am – 4.00 pm (last entry 3.00 pm) and Bank Holiday Monday 21 April 2025.
Ride The Giant Wheel at Tatton Park

Saturday 28th March to Monday 4th May 2026
This Easter, The Giant Wheel Co will be offering panoramic views with their flagship 50m observation wheel, the largest transportable wheel in the UK!
You will get to rise to a height of 50 meters above the ground and enjoy unrivalled vistas over Tatton Park’s historic estate.
See the stunning 1,000-acre parkland, lush woodlands, and serene lakes stretch out beneath you, with the Cheshire countryside unfolding in all directions.
On a clear day, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of distant landmarks, and the beauty of the park, including the majestic Tatton Mansion, will be revealed in a whole new way.
The giant wheel will cost
- £8.00 for adults
- £6.oo for children under 1.4m
- £6.00 for Senior citizens
- £25.00 for family tickets (2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 2 children)
Lambing Week At The Farm

Saturday 28th March to Sunday 5th April 2026
Head to the Tatton Park farm during Lambing Week, when Farm staff will share their expertise with visitors, giving informative talks at the lambing shed.
Learn how they spot the signs of lambing and how they look after sheep and care for lambs during this extra special time.
The daily talks will take place at 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm and the farm is closed on Mondays.

Pop Up Easter Market at Tatton Park the Stableyard

Friday 3rd to Monday 6th April 2026
Head to the Stableyard to enjoy a pop-up Easter Market.
You will find artisan food producers, local artwork, and beautiful pieces.
There will be stalls of all kinds offering artwork, gifts of all kinds and homeware.
Plus, there will be food stalls featuring mouth-watering pies, delicious cheese, and much more.
The Easter Market will be a four-day event and will be from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm

Musical Storytelling
Friday 3rd to Monday 6th April 2026
Step into miffy’s world and enjoy classic stories, performed by interactive storytellers, Connection with Wonder, in the gardens.
Free drop in sessions throughout the day.

Tudor Life Workshop
Wednesday 1st April 2026
Head to the Old Hall to experience what life was like for people living in Tudor times.
Your guides from the past will invite you into their home, share stories and ask for your help important tasks. But be aware…a valuable item has recently gone missing and the culprit is yet to be found!
This event is aimed at families aged 7-11 years old.
Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and Oldhall entry.
Viking Life Workshop
Tuesday 7th April 2026
Join the fearsome Viking warlord Harald Bloodaxe and his loyal thrall at Tata’s Tun. Become one of Harald’s Shield Warriors or Shield Maidens and step into the world of the Vikings.
Through an engaging workshop and a series of hands‑on activities, you will discover Viking beliefs, skills, and daily life in the atmospheric surroundings of Tatton Park’s Old Hall.
This event is aimed at families aged 7-11 years old.
Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and Oldhall entry.
Venetian Carnival Mask Making Workshop
Wednesday 8th April 2026
Step into the magic of Venice’s famous Carnival at a family-friendly mask-making workshop
Inspired by the upcoming 2026 Canaletto exhibition, you will discover the fascinating history behind this spectacular festival, then unleash your creativity as you design your very own carnival mask.
To finish, bring your masterpiece to life with costumes and props for a fun photo opportunity!
Tickets cost £15 per person, including one adult and one child and include park entry.
Life On The Home Front
Thursday 9th April 2026
Step back to 1941 to explore life on the Home Front and learn skills that supported the war effort.
Discover how families lived, worked, and adapted on the Home Front, and learn practical skills that ordinary people used to support the war effort.
This event is aimed at families aged 7-11 years old.
Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and Oldhall entry.
