The Easter Egg Hunts at the National Trust properties around Manchester are back for 2023


If you have been wondering are The National Trust doing Easter Egg Hunts for 2023, the answer is yes. 

The National Trust has announced that their annual Easter Egg Hunts are back this Easter. 

The start days of the Easter Egg vary with some events starting as early as 1st April 2023. Families wanting to take part will be able to pick up a pencil and trial map to follow. 

The trail will include nature-inspired activities and once you complete the trail you can collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg.

The eggs are made here in the UK using cocoa that’s responsibly sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

The National Trust Easter Egg Hunts will cost £3 to enter plus an entry fee to the property unless a member.

Which National Trust around Manchester are running Easter Egg Hunts 2023?

The following North West National Trust properties around Manchester will be running Easter Egg Hunts. 

Dunham Massey, Altrincham 

Dunham Massey Easter Main

Dunham Massey will be running the Easter Egg Hunt from the 1st April 2023.

The trail will take you on a hunt around their park and gardens and along the way you will be able see Sir Oliver the horse, colourful butterflies and the fun natural play area. 

After you have completed the hunt why not head out around the property on the lookout for wildlife such as the Dunham Massey Fallow Deer.

Lyme Park, Stockport

Lyme Easter Hunt Trail

Lyme Park will be running their popular Easter Trail from 1st April 2023.

Taking place in the Lyme Park Gardens, you will find games and activities as you follow the hunt.

Once you have finished the trail you will receive a chocolate reward.

Plus you can make the most of the lovely walks around the 1400 acres and the new Crow Wood Playground.

Quarry Bank, Wilmslow

The popular Quarry Bank Easter Egg Hunt will be back for 2023 starting on the 1st April. 

The hunt will take you around the estate whilst with fun nature activities along the way.

Plus take the chance to explore the huge spring gardens, woodland estate and historic buildings.

Tatton Park, Knutsford

Tatton Park will be running two trails over the Easter Holidays. 

The first is a Tiger Who Came to Tea trail in the gardens, where you can help Sophie and Mummy on the hunt for food to refill their cupboards.

The second Easter Trail is the Sheep Dog trail on the farm, learn all about Sheep Dogs and watch a demonstration. 

Both are offering a sweet treat at the end of the trail when visiting from the 7th to 10th April 2023.

Hare Hill, Macclesfield

Starting on Monday 3rd to the 16th of April 2023, Hare Hill will be offering a fun Easter Adventures in Nature event.

You will follow the trail getting close to nature with different activities and games along the way.

There will be a chocolate treat at the end.

Little Moreton Hall, Macclesfield

Little Morton Hall in Congelton, Cheshire will be running their Easter event from Monday 3rd to the 16th of April 2023 to 11.00am to 4.30pm. 

The fun Easter Adventures in Nature event will offer the chance to discover what wildlife gets up to in the spring months.

Expect activities and games as you follow the trail with a chocolate treat at the end.
