Cockfields Farm Park, Ashton Under Lyne

Cockfields Farm Park offers both indoor and outdoor fun and so makes a great day out no matter what the weather.
Indoors they boast an indoor play village, a large barn housing all the resident animals and a reptile house.
Outside they have play tunnels, a large play frame, a park area, a sandpit and a huge bouncy pillow (weather permitting).
If that is not enough they run activities throughout the day such as animal holding, a reptile show and lots more, plus they run special events during the school holidays and some weekends.

Old Mill Farm Shop, Mottram, Hyde

Old Mill Farm Shop is a great place for the kids to run off some steam.
Their play area has a bouncy castle, sandpit, soft play, ball pool, climbing frame, arts and crafts and ride-on tractors.
Admission to the play area costs £5 per child and is drop-in.
Plus they have farm animals who you can visit for free, a lovely farm shop and they sell a selection of refreshments.
They also run events during the year and also offer parties at weekends.
The Play area is open on:
- Monday to Fridays – 9.30 am to 5.00 pm
- Saturdays – 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
- Sundays – 10.00 am to 4.30 pm

Let Us Play Little Town, Stalybridge

For kids with big imaginations, check out Let Us Play Little Town.
A role-play centre for children from 1 to 8 years, it has been designed for adults to play along with their kids.
The Little Town features a construction area, post office, salon, cafe and market all featuring high-quality wooden toys.
They also have a cafe area to refuel during the session.
Let Us Play Little Town is usually open Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
They run baby and toddler activity sessions midweek.
Sessions last one hour and 40 minutes and cost £9 per child.

One Adventure, Droylsden

One Adventure offers a whole host of activities for children (over 7’s) and adults at their in Greenside Mill in Droylsden. Options include Nerf Wars, Laser Zone, a reactor cave maze, axe throwing (over 9’s) and more.
They offer activity packages with a 2-person minimum with activities including Axe Throwing, Rifle Shooting and more.
They also run regular events and school holiday clubs, and kids’ parties.

Jumperooz Inflatable Park, Ashton Under Lyne

Tire the kids out at Jumperooz Inflatable Park in Ashton Under Lyne.
This bouncy day out features an assault course, stunt jump, death drop slide, fun slide, climbing pole and toddler zone.
They run toddler sessions midweek term time and open after school, during school holidays and at weekends for general jump sessions. Along with jump parties on specific days.
General sessions cost £8.00 for 1 hour and 30 minutes of play.

Cineworld Ashton Under Lyne

Located at Ashton Moss Leisure Park, Cineworld Ashton is a newly renovated cinema featuring both IMAX and 4DX screens showing the latest film releases.

Portland Basin, Ashton Under Lyne

Portland Basin is free to enter the museum located on the canal system.
Great for families, there is a chance for you to explore a 1920’s street, and learn about the history of the local area.
They have a dedicated area Nuts and Bolt for children with dressing up and role play.
Portland basin is open during the weekends and set days over the school holidays. They run Make Do and Play Craft sessions and often run family events and fun days.

Hyde Leisure Pool, Hyde

Hyde Leisure Pool makes a great day out for all ages.
With a huge slide, water cannon, waves and rapids it’s lots of fun for the whole family.
The Tameside swimming offers run’s their Swim Slide and Wave sessions in the main pool at set times during the weekends, some evenings and during the school holidays.

Stamford Park, Stalybridge

Stamford Park is a great park to visit for all ages. They have a large sandpit area for smaller children with slides, roundabouts and climbing frames. Older children can enjoy a large slide, swings and zip wire. Plus they have a small animal area, a splash zone in the summer months and a land train during the weekends and summer holidays.

Adventure Medlock (formally Sky High Adventure), Droylsden

Adventure Medlock (Formally Sky High Adventure) is a great activity centre perfect for a family day out.
They offer Clip N Climb Climbing Walls, High Ropes, Caving and Bouldering and a large soft play centre.
It is located at Active Medlock which has a large swimming pool.
The centre is open during the weekends and school holidays.

Located in Denton, the Tameside Wellness Centre has lots to offer for families.
They have a great bowling alley with the choice of ten-pin or hyper bowling and a small soft play area for younger kids.
