DC Superheroes and the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu have joined forces to bring the ultimate line-up of the stretchiest, gooiest, and squishiest Super Heroes ever. We were kindly gifted two of the new characters for an honest opinion and to decide who would win in an ultimate battle. We asked our Mum in the Know reviewer and her children to check them out.

Toy Review of Heroes of Goo Jit Zu DC Superhero Characters

If it is squishy and stretchy it is always a hit in our house and we have been dying to try the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu especially when we saw the new DC Superhero range. We were recently kindly gifted the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Batman and Superman characters to check out and to discover who would win in an ultimate battle. Here is what we thought.

What are Heroes of Goo Jit Zu?

Heroes of Goo Jit Zu are squishy, gooey, stretchy collectible action toys. Each character has a different goo filling giving them all a different texture, feeling, and stretchability.

These fun toys are really durable with stretchy bodies arms and legs that can stretch up to three times their size then go back to their original size.

Which Heroes of Goo Jit Zu DC Superhero Characters are available?

In the latest series of Heroes of Goo Jit Zu they have teamed up with DC to turn their popular characters into the ultimate line-up of the stretchiest, gooiest, and squishiest Super Heroes ever.

The new DC Heroes of Goo Jit Zu include Superman, Batman, Flash, and The Joker in a DC Versus pack – Batman Vs Joker. We were kindly gifted the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Superman and Batman figures.

The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Superman has a gel filling and has a super stretchy ability! Featuring the all-important red cape and belt Superman’s gel arms are great for those longer reaching punches which all superheroes of course need.

We loved that the gel filling moves the arms and legs gradually move back to normal position in what looks like to a slow-motion fight scene.

The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Batman figure contains a fun goo filling complete with little bats and has a super squishy ability. Squeez Batman to reveal little yellow hiding in his goo.

Pull-on his arms and legs to stretch him out and watch as they spring back to normal in a quick action movement that his enemies won’t see it coming. Squeez his wrist to make a giant hand appear in a fun comic style.

Once the kids had a good play with the individual figures working out what they could do it was time to test out the superpowers in a Batman Vs Superman battle.

My eleven-year-old son chose to be on the side of Superman and my eight-year-old daughter opted to team up with Batman.

With the help of my overly keen husband, they quickly decided that without the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu powers Superman would beat Batman unless Kryptonite was involved.

However, they felt the new Heroes of Goo Jit Zu abilities would even things up. Batman giant goo fists would be a match for Superman’s super strength. Superman’s long stretching punch could catch Batman before he could use his weapons.

They both loved acting out the various battles, stretching and squeezing the heroes into different poses, and played nicely for quite some time.

What We Thought About Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Superheroes

Both my children have enjoyed playing with the Goo Jit Zu Superheroes. My eight-year-old little girl really loves staging the battles especially when Superman and Batman take on my husband, who inevitably, to my daughter’s delight, always losers.

My 11-year-old son who would normally declare himself too old for this type of toy has been keen to get involved with the ‘epic superhero fights’. Although he is a lot rougher when stretching and squeezing the toys but to my surprise, they still bounce back to normal and have proven to be a great fidget toy.
