PARKTASTIC – Free Summer Holiday Activities In Manchester Parks

This summer holidays, PARKTASTIC is coming to parks in Manchester, offering lots of free fun for families and children.

The PARKTASTIC project aims to provide FREE open-access play sessions in parks across Manchester in the summer of 2026.

Please note on the week of National Play Day all events will run on the 5th August rather than at the usual time.

The activities are divided into the North, Central and South areas of the city as below:

Chesterton Park – Mondays 4 to 6 pm from 15th June to 14th September 2026
Riverside Park – Mondays 5 to 7 pm from 15th June to 14th September 2026
Ladybarn Park – Tuesdays – 5 to 7 pm from 16th June to 15th September 2026
Cringle Fields – Wednesdays 5 to 7 pm from 17th June to 16th September 2026
Alderman Rogers Park – Wednesdays 5 to 7 pm from 17th June to 16th September 2026
Kirkup Gardens – Wednesdays 5.30 to 7.30 pm from 17th June to 16th September 2026
Alexandra Park – Wednesdays 5 to 7 pm from 17th June to 16th September 2026
Fog Lane Park – Thursdays 5 to 7 pm from 18th June to 17th September 2026
Mersey Bank Park – Fridays 5 to 7 pm from 19th June to 18th September 2026
Hollyhedge Park – Fridays 5 to 7 pm from 19th June to 18th September 2026
