National Trust Pokémon Trail at Quarry Bank
Calling all Pokémon fans — a brand-new Pokémon Mega Evolution Trail is arriving at Quarry Bank this May, bringing outdoor adventures, challenges and family fun to one of Cheshire’s most popular National Trust sites.
Part of a new partnership between Pokémon and the National Trust, the trail encourages children to explore outdoors, complete activities and discover Mega Evolution Pokémon along the way.
It’s included with normal admission and is free for National Trust members.
Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail
Saturday 23rd May to Sunday 6th September 2026
Families can follow a self-guided trail around Quarry Bank searching for ten different Mega Evolution Pokémon. Each trail point includes challenges inspired by Pokémon abilities such as bravery, speed and teamwork.
Children will complete activities, explore nature and uncover clues while learning through imaginative outdoor play. At the end, visitors can stop for a photo with the Pokémon Mega Evolution backdrop.
Trail sheets are available to collect on arrival and all ages are welcome. The route uses accessible paths suitable for most pushchairs and wheelchairs.

What Else is Happening at Quarry Bank?
While visiting Quarry Bank, families can also explore woodland walks, the mill, gardens, play areas and riverside routes around the estate.
They also have additional activities on during May Half Term and the Summer Holidays.
