My daughter was over the moon when she realised that she had been given Dot declaring him super cool.
How To Playing with My Squishy Little Dumplings
My Squishy Little Dumplings start off as a cute little dumpling head. On opening to be able to play fully you need to make sure that the button on the back is turned to ‘On’ rather than ‘Try Me’. You also need to remove the display stand attached to your character’s feet.
To reveal your My Squishy Little Dumplings body and legs you need to squeeze their cheeks to see them pop out making a big pop sound. My daughter was instantly in love.
The cute characters each have their own 50 reactions which are all revealed the more you play with them. The inside of the box shows which ways you can play with your Little Dumpling to get them interacting, both with their body’s tucked up or down.
With the body out, squeeze those cute cheeks for a few seconds to tickle your character and hear them giggle, squeeze the cheeks twice to hear them sing and squeeze once for cheeky little noises such as sneezes, little ‘fart’ noises and burps – of course, my daughter found this hilarious, doing it over and over again.
My Squishy Little Dumplings also love to play. Push the body back in and turn upside down until you hear Wee Woo Boomba, and toss them in the air and catch them to hear silly playing sounds. Shake upside down with the body in or out to hear cute dizzy sounds.
Place your character down and he tries to get attention by singing and talking leave him a bit longer and he will fall asleep with cute little snores.
The box contains a “Squishionary’ translating My Squishy Little Dumplings language Squish-Pop! into English. The more we played with Dot the more he started to say. Before long he was saying ‘Suuuuup’ meaning ‘How You Doin!’ and Coo meaning ‘Cool’.
My Squishy Little Dumplings also light up to show their mood. Pink is loving, yellow is dreamy, orange is amused, green is energetic, red is silly and rainbow is ‘so happy’.
As mentioned the characters all come with their own accessories which are hidden in a flap in the box. These were the icing on the cake for my daughter who loved dressing Dot Up.
What we thought about My Squishy Little Dumplings.
My daughter adores the My Squishy Little Dumplings. She couldn’t believe how cute Dot is and loved squeezing his cheeks to hear the ‘Pop’ again and again.
When she realised that the more she played with him the more he would say she was over the moon. Throwing him up in the air over and over, tickling to hear him laugh and constantly squeezing his cheeks to see if he had any new noises and screaming with delight when she heard him burp.
She has also loved using the ‘Squishionary’ to interpret what he says and watching for his colour mood colour changing, desperately trying to get him to change to ‘rainbow’.
My daughter has loved My Squishy Little Dumplings so much that she is saving her pocket money to buy the other cute My Squishy Little Dumplings Characters.
