It has now been confirmed that the Platt Fields Bonfire Night will be back for 2026 with two firework displays.

Here is everything you need to know about watching the bonfire and fireworks at Platt Fields.

What to expect at the Platt Fields Bonfire Night Event

The event will feature both a reduced-noise, low-impact display and a main fireworks display.

No tickets will be required for the Bonfire event, and entry is free.

However, the event does get very busy and it is recommended that you arrive early to claim your spot.

However, it is recommended that you take a torch to be able to navigate around the park.

Also, you should wrap up warm with gloves, and suitable footwear.

Onsite parking at the park will be very limited for the event and will get full very quickly.

It is therefore recommended to take public transport.

There are also local buses that you can to the park.

The Bonfire and Fireworks display at Platt Fields will be held on 7th November 2026.

The reduced-noise, low-impact display will be held at 5pm and the main display at 8.00 pm
