Apple Jacks Adventure Farm Review

As the name suggests Apple Jacks offers a whole host of adventure activities for families and children.
On entering the kids were instantly excited and couldn’t decide where to start. However, after much debate, the huge zip wires won and they were a huge hit. Some of the biggest I have seen outside treetop trek attractions, the kids had a ball zooming down them and racing each other side by side.

Once we managed to drag them away they headed straight to the large bouncy slide and tunnel slide where they loved that they could have as many turns as they liked. Then proceeded to the giant bouncy pillow and then around the small fence maze.
Not yet tired of the inflatable fun we next head to the indoor zone where there is a mix of small bouncy castles and a big inflatable assault course. This area also had seats for adults and so served as a great place to enjoy the coffee that we had purchased from the cafe.

One of the favourite attractions of the day was the Ball Blaster. Located inside it offers the chance to shoot soft balls at each other via an air-compressed launcher. To play you choose a side and then launch the ball at the other team over a pit. The kids loved this especially as we did kids vs. adults.
The shooting fun didn’t stop there. Applejacks also has an archery zone and a corn cannon both of which give you the chance to shoot at targets.

There is also a haunted house where you make your way around dark rooms, climbing frames, swings, sandpits an obstacle course and even a small roller rink. You can also take a tour around the farm on the Tractor ride which goes at set times in the day.
Throughout the day the farm offers entertainment with mini discos, character meets and greets and foam parties (weather dependent). The kids were a little old to get involved, however, we noticed that the smaller kids really seemed to enjoy it.
All the activities are included in the ticket price except for the mini diggers and quad carts which cost £1.00 and £2.00. We decided to treat the kids to the quad bikes and it was nice to see they got a decent amount of time on them.

Cafe and Picnics at Apple Jack Adventure Farm
Apple Jacks allows you take your own drinks and small sandwich bags but not big picnics or BBQs. We had taken our own lunch with us and there was a big undercover picnic area where we could enjoy it.
There is also an on-site cafe which offers a variety of food options from quick snacks to more substantial hot meals and kids’ sandwich meal deals.
How Much Time Can You Spend At Apple Jacks

Your ticket allows for all day entry and how much time you spend there depends on how much energy you and your kids have!
If the kids like to just have one go on each activity and move on you can likely do it all in a few hours. However, if like mine they are happy to spend time enjoying each area and going back to their favourites you can easily spend all day here.

What We Thought About Apple Jacks Adventure Farm

Apple Jacks is a lovely day out for families and we all had a great day out.
From the moment we arrived, the kids never stopped moving from one activity to the next and at no point declared they were bored. It was great to see them having so much fun without any technology in sight.
There was also a great range of activities for all abilities. Although it is aimed at kids from 4 to 12 years, there seems to be enough to also keep slightly older and younger children occupied
Apple Jacks is not the shiniest and newest adventure park we have visited. This however, didn’t bother the kids in the slightest as it was definitely up there for its fun factor.
In fact, they have already asked when they can visit next which for me says it all.
