Guess How Much I Love You – A Garden Adventure, RHS Bridgewater
Ongoing to 31st December 2025
Bringing the beautiful story and illustrations to the Bridgewater gardens, RHS has partnered with Walker Books for the 30th-anniversary celebration ofGuess How Much I Love You™ by Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram.
Go on a Garden Adventure trail following Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare around the garden.

Free Summer Fun at Kargo MKT, Quayside
Sunday 27th July to Sunday 18th August 2025
Kargo MKT will be hosting a whole host of fun events for kids and families over the summer holidays.
Salford’s very own food hall features 19 independent food vendors and is located in the Quayside shopping area.
The events include:
- Sunday 27th July, 10.00 am to 12.00 pm – Mini Disco with the Princess With The Red Rose
- Sunday 3rd August, 10.00 am to 12.00 pm –Mini Disco with the Mermaid Princess
- Sunday 17th August, 10.00 am to 12.00 pm – Mini Disco with the Sleeping Princess
All the sessions are free but booking is required.

Kargo On The Docks Summer Activities, Media City
Saturday 2nd to Thursday 14th August 2025
- Paint On The Docks, 2nd August 2025, 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm – Decorate large canvasses and cubes, and watch live artists
- Kids Petting Zoo, 5th August 2025, 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm – Kids can enjoy a fun petting zoo with a variety of animals
- The Movie Jukebox Moana, 14th August 2025, 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm – Watch a Sing-along Moana movie with a Moana meet and greet.

Playstreets Salford

Salford’s Community Leisure’s holiday activities are back with Playstreets aimed at 5 to 11-year-olds.
The sessions are all free and feature fun activities such as multi-sports, dance, swimming, arts, and crafts and lots more!
They will be running at the following locations and booking in advance is required :
- The Castle Community Centre, Eccles – 12th to 22nd August.
- The Den, Walkden – Fridays from 2nd to 23rd August.
- Brookhouse Community Centre, Eccles – Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6th to 21st August.
- Cadishead Rhinos ARLFC, Cadishead – Mondays from 5th to 19th August.
- Westwood Community Centre, Westwood Community Centre, Eccles – Thursdays from 1st to 22nd August.
- The Valley Community Centre, Swinton Fridays from 2nd to 30th August
