Review Of Harry Potter Magical Capsules
We are huge Harry Potter fans and are love discovering new toys and collectables to bring the magic alive. We were therefore over the moon when we were asked to review series 1 of the brand new Harry Potter Magical Capsules. Read on for what we thought below.
Harry Potter Magical Capsules
The Harry Potter Magical Capsules series 1 is a bronze Hogwarts crest that contains one of 10 iconic characters from the Harry Potter series. 
How to open the Harry Potter Magical Capsules?
The bronze Hogwarts crest capsules are easy to open. The capsule has three numbered flaps, the first two located on the top and the third and largest on the back which all open easily.
What do the Harry Potter Magical Capsules contain?
Each crest contain 7 magical surprises hidden within the three chambers.
The chamber labelled ‘1’ contained a heat-activated crest which when rubbed revealed the colour of the Hogwarts House which the surprise character belongs to. After a small amount of rubbing ours turned green indicating Slytherin.
The second chamber had a small scroll which when dipped in water revealed a hidden word. My daughter loved doing this and squealed with delight when the word ‘Stupefy’ appeared.
The third and the largest chamber contained five packages containing the character and four accessories along with a collector card.
Harry Potter Magical Capsule Characters.
Series 1 of the Harry Potter Magical Capsules features 10 of the iconic Harry Potter characters to collect from Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Ginny, Luna, Draco, Cho, Snape, Cedric to a mystery character. Each of the capsules contains one of the characters along with a collectors card.
Which of the Harry Potter Magical Capsule Characters did we open?
As mentioned above our secret crest clue had revealed that our surprise character was from Slytherin and with ‘Stupefy’ as the hidden word we had our suspicions about who we may reveal. However, we were still very excited to be open the themed packages with the largest revealing Draco Malfoy.
On opening, the other packages revealed Malfoy’s brown eagle owl, a cauldron, a hand and a wand.
What We Thought about the Harry Potter Magical Capsules?
Both my seven and ten years old loved the new Harry Potter Magical Capsule. They were both excited at discovering the hidden clues and adored all the surprise packages.
Although my daughter had hoped for Hermonie and my son Harry, they both loved Malfoy’s scowling face and his accessories especially the owl and gruesome hand which they played with some time after.
They have also both added ‘The Harry Potter Magical Capsules’ to their birthday list, which is still months away.
