Yuletide Tatton Park
Yuletide is a unique blend of an outdoor Christmas festival and winter light trail and offers a perfect way to celebrate Christmas with the family.
The event is based on festive folklore, ridiculous rituals and forgotten traditions and will include the following activities:
Making up the heart of Yuletide will be the Yuletide Gathering.
Head to the campfire to watch live musicians, listen to the campfire stories, and watch the impressive fire jugglers.
There will also be the chance to toast marshmallows and visit the food vendors who will be offering tasty festive treats and mulled wine.
Christmas Light Trail Through Tatton Park
After the campfire make your way through the glittering light trail in the Tatton Park Gardens.
Visitors can expect lit installations, interactive light effects, illuminated puppets and costumed characters along the route.
Watch out for the winter witches who have captured the moon and the sun, and shapeshifting snow hares who will play tricks on passersby.
There will also be a chance to crown someone their own ‘Lord of Misrule’, inspired by the Tudor tradition of appointing someone to be in charge of Christmas revelries.
