The New My Magic Pet Morphle Toys have hit the shops. We out checked out some of the range and you can find out what we thought in our review.
If you have a pre-schooler we are sure you will be familiar with My Magic Pet Morphle. The fun cartoon series is available to watch on Tiny Pop and YouTube and has been a massive hit in the under 5’s scene.
A brand new range of My Magic Pet Morphle Toys are now available and we were kindly gifted a selection for the purpose of an honest review. We asked one of our On The Go reviewers Leanne and her daughter to check them out. Read on for everything you need to know about Morphle and the fun toys below.
Review My Magic Pet Morphle Toys
My little girl loves the My Magic Pet Morphle cartoons always watching it cuddled up to her big brother. Therefore, we were really excited when Family On The Go asked us to check out some of the new toy range. Here is what we thought.
What Is My Magic Pet Morphle?
For those unfamiliar with the cartoon, My Magic Pet Morphle follows a little girl called Mila and her magical red pet Morphle. Morphle has lots of energy and the ability to morph into any shape Mila can imagine. From a dinosaur to a puppy, a truck to a unicorn there is nothing that Morphle cannot turn into.
The show is great for pre-schoolers and helps to teach themes and skills such friendship and problem solving through creativity all in a lovely fun way.
My Magic Pet Morphle is available to watch weekday evenings on Tiny Pop and on YouTube.
What My Magic Pet Morphle Toys Are Available?
Character Online have now released a lovely range of My Magic Pet Morphle Toys which include: Morphle and Mila figure from £4.99 for the two packs, push along vehicles from £5.99, soft toys in different Morphle poses from £6.99, a Morphle Travel Magentic Scribbler for £9.99 and a Morphle Dough Carry Case for £14.99.
We were gifted the Morphle Talking Soft Toy (£9.99), a twin figure pack featuring Morphle and Dog Morphle, two Morphle Mini Buggies (Mila and Alicorn Morphle and Mila T-Rex Morphle) and the Morphle Dough Carry Case.
What Age are the Morphle Toys aimed at?
The majority of the My Magic Pet Morphle Toys are aimed at children from 2 years old. The Morphle Dough Carry Case is reccomended for those over 3 years.
The Morphle Talking Soft Toy
There a few Morphle soft toys to collect, including three 17cm high plushes which all feature a different expression, a Morphle To Orphle Soft Toy Transforming plush and the two different expression talking soft toys one of which we were gifted.
We received the Morphle Talking Soft with the cute little smile, which is a great size at around 21cm high and is extreamley soft.
The plush contains a fully sewn in voice box, which when press in the nose area rewards with sounds such as laughing, singing, little phrases and more.
As soon handed it to my daughter whilst she was watching the show. From the moment she spotted it she was absolutely smitten, looking and pointing at the TV then at her new toy in amazement and cuddling it whilst she watched.
In fact, she was so entralled with it, it was quiet a while before she would let us show her the special talking feature – which made her love it all the more.
The Morphle Figures and Push A Long Vehicles
As mentioned above we also received the twin figure pack featuring Morphle and Dog Morphle along with two Morphle Mini Buggies Mila and Alicorn Morphle and Mila T-Rex Morphle.
Both the figures and vehicles brightly coloured, feature lots of details and appear very robust. They are also a great size for little hands and will be great for taking away on holidays
My daughter really enjoyed playing with these toys. She has just started enjoying small world style play and it was lovely to see her so excited to use the figures in this way.
The vehicles were easy for to push a long but thankfully didn’t go shooting too far minimising the chance of them getting stuck or lost under the furniture.
The Morphle Dough Carry Case.
The Morphle Dough Carry Case as the name suggests contains soft dough and tools to let your little ones make and morph their own Morphle.
What Does The Morphle Dough Carry Case Set Contain?
The Morphle Dough Carry Case comes with the following:
- 4 pots of soft dough (2 of which are Morphle’s colour red)
- 4 plastic eyes
- 4 character shaped press moulds
- 1 Morphle clamshell mould,
- 1 pair of safety dough scissors
- 1 dough modelling tool.
- A red closeable carry case
The Morphle Dough set is aimed for children over three years and over.
Playing With The Morphle Dough Set
My daughter was a little too young to play with the set. However we couldn’t resist opening it up and having a look.
The pots of dough are a great size, the colours really vibrant and it was nice to see it contained 2 pots of red ideal for making Morphle itself.
Along with the dough, the set had a clamshell mould where you can make your own 3d Morphle. This was easy to use and the finished Morphle looked great especially as set contains 4 eyes which when added made it look even more realistic.
We also found character shape flat moulds including two Morphles with different expressions, Mila, and Morphle Fish.
The dough shape was a little trickier to remove at first however but soon worked out that we just needed to use the moddelling tool to gently push it out from the top. Again the finished result looked great and the included eyes fitted in well.
What we thought about the My Magic Pet Morphle Toys
My daughter has absolutely playing with The Morphle Toys. The Talking Morphle Plush has been a firm favourite and now won’t watch the show without it.
She has also loved playing with the figures and vehicles and will often play with them at the same as watching getting excited when Morphle turns in the shape of one of her figures.
Although my daughter is too young to play with the dough set, she was interested in what we made. The fact that she will be able to make her own Morphle then morph into a different shape just like in the show makes this a lovely immersive and I can see it being a big hit in the future.
The My Magic Pet Morphle Toys are a must for any fan of the show and I can see a lot more Morphle toys in our future.
