Go on the hunt at Tatton Park for the supersized Shaun The Sheep around the gardens.

There will be lots of Shauns to find which are decorated in designs by different artists. 

You will also find some fun-themed garden games for some extra fun.

Kids Rule at Beeston Castle, Beeston 

Saturday 25th May to Sunday 9th June 2024

Head to Beeston Castle for some fun interactive family activities.

You will be able to explore the world of medieval royalty including a coronation.

The event will run from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The event is free but you will need to pay the entry price which costs from £10.00 for adults, £5.90 for children and £25.90 for family tickets. It is free if you have English Heritage membership.

The Gruffalo Birthday Trail, Delamere Forest, Northwich 


The Gruffalo is celebrating his 25th Birthday and he is inviting everyone to go on a fun trail. 

Help give the Gruffalo a party to remember as you find everything you need for a party such as balloons, pine cones, apples and even the Gruffalo himself.

This interactive family trail features party-themed activities and games, rubbings and fun facts about life in the forest.

The trail pack costs £4.00 and includes a kraft bag to colour in, a party headband, an activity trail leaflet, stickers, a pencil, crayon and sew on Gruffalo patch. 

You will also need to pay for parking at the forest.

  • Potions Workshop – 11.30 pm and 2.00 pm – Families will have the chance to get excited about chemistry and to see some surprising chemical reactions. Have a go at mixing some potions and watch how they behave in our hands-on workshop. Tickets are required and cost £2.50

Roman Day is back at Chester Racecourse and makes a great family day out.

In partnership with Via Roma this race day promises to be jam-packed with a host of free activities on the Open Course

Deva Fest will be providing an array of performers to entertain the little ones including Super Pirates, AmaSing, Laughter Tots, Bubble Inc and more!

There will also be the usual annual activities such as archery, super fun slides and inflatables galore.

Tickets cost £17.50 for adults and under 17’s are free.
