Merseybay Free Outdoor Beach is back in Stockport over the summer holidays for 2023.

The popular beach event is back with lots of fun in-store.

The Stockport Beach is back and it’s free.

This year families enjoy some seaside fun with buckets and spades along with deckchairs for parents to relax whilst the kids play.

There will also be rides, along with food and drink stalls – charges will apply.

Plus there will be running activity Wednesdays where with fun things to do for children with a different theme each week.

There will also be Barbie Beach takeover to celebrate the new film – see below.

The themes will be:

2nd August 2023 – Come on BARBIE, let’s go party!

9th August 2023 – Ahoy there pirates!

16th August 2023 – Roarsome Dino Fun!

23rd August 2023 – A Royal Affair: Prince & Princess Party!

30th August – Party at the beach!

The activities will run from 12.00pm to 3.00pm.

Merseybay Barbie Beach Takeover

Barbie Launch at stockport merseyway Satuday 29th July 2023

Merseyway Shopping Centre and the Redrock team have teamed up to host a doll extravaganza across Stockport town centre.

Celebrating the opening of the brand-new Barbie movie in cinemas, the event will include an array of doll-themed activities and installations including

Merseyway and Redrock will be decorated with all things pink and with fun inflatables
Kids will be able to make clothing for their favourite dolls,
There will be fun hair extension and glitter face tattoo makeovers.
A live DJ will be getting everyone in the party spirit,
Follow a trail around the centre to be in with a chance of winning a bundle of the trail-featured dolls.

Plus there will be lots of photo opportunities on every corner including:

A pink Cadillac at The Light Cinema Stockport,
A pink jeep will also be located at Merseyway for toddlers and youngsters.
Doll boxes will be located around the centre ready for visitors to show off their best poses,
A photobooth will also be in the undercover mall ready to provide visitors with family snaps

You will also be able to grab a bite to eat from the food huts at Merseyway and The Light Cinema at Redrock as both locations will be serving a variety of pink treats to mark the occasion, including candyfloss, doughnuts and more.

The Barbie event will run on the Saturday 29th July 2023 from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm
