Tatton Park has some great Easter events running from across the holidays for all the family.

Shaun The Sheep – Find The Flock, Tatton Park

Friday 29th March to Sunday 23rd June 2024 

Go on the hunt with Shaun the Sheep across Tatton Parks 50 acres of gardens this Easter.

Pick up a trail sheet and keep your eyes peeled for the supersized Shaun the Sheep sculptures which have been designed and painted by local and regional artists.

Little Grey Fergie at the Farm

Friday 29th March to Sunday 14th April 2024

Head to Tatton Park Farm this Easter holdaus and meet Little Grey Fergie who can move all by itself. 

Plus if you visit between Friday 29th March to Monday 1st April 2024 little ones will receive a chocolate treat.

The event is free but admission charges apply – see below.

Our Kids Social Silent Disco at Tatton Park

Saturday 30th March 2024 

Our Kids Social are bringing their Silent Disco to Tatton Park this Easter.

The event is ideal for both children and adults alike, with 2 channels to choose from featuring kids’ pop v adults’ guilty pleasures 

Feel free to don your favourite Easter outfit – bunnies, chicks and eggheads are welcome!

There will be an Easter basket dance challenge game, props, bubbles and the legendary parents v kids dance-off.

The disco will run from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm and is suitable for children over 4 years old.

Tickets cost £6.50 for adults and children. Parkland tickets are also required – see below.

Storytelling Tours at Tatton Park Gardens

Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th April 2024

Explore well-loved tales and the Tatton Park Gardens with these storytelling tours. 

Tuesday 2nd April celebrate International Children’s Book Day as well-loved storybook characters are brought to life.

Thursday 4th April meet Mr McGregor, learn about Peter’s mischief and enjoy fun, hands-on activities.

The events are most appropriate for families with children aged 3-6 years old.

The walks will take place at 10.30 am to 12.00 noon, 1.00 to 2.30 pm 

Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and garden entry. 

Welly Walks

Wednesday 3rd April 2024

Celebrate National Walking Day with a parkland adventure!

Go on a welly walk and learn about the animal and plant life that inhabit the parkland with the help from the Tatton Park Education Team.

This event is most appropriate for families with children aged 8 and below and it parkland walk totalling approx. 1.5 miles. The route is not appropriate for pushchairs. 

The walks will take place at 10.30 am to 12.00 noon, 1.00 to 2.30 pm 

Tickets cost £12 per person and include parklands entry. 

Lambing Week at the Tatton Park Farm

Friday 5th to Friday 12th April 

Head to the Tatton Park Farm where you can enjoy informative talks at the lambing shed from the farm staff.

You can learn how they spot the signs of lambing and how they look after sheep and care for lambs during this extra special time.

Please note this event will not be running on Monday 8th April 2024.

Tudor Times

Tuesday 9th April 2024

Head to the Old Hall to experience what life was like for people living in Tudor times.

Your guides from the past will invite you into their home, share stories and ask for your help  important tasks. But be aware…a valuable item has recently gone missing and the culprit is yet to be found!

This event is aimed at families aged 7-11 years old.

The event will take place at 10.30 am to 12.00 noon, 1.00 to 2.30 pm 

Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and Oldhall entry. 

Viking Life

Wednesday 10th April 2024 

Join Viking Warlord, Harald Bloodaxe, and his trusted Thrall at Tata’s Tun

Head to their temporary camp on their perilous journey from Yorvik (the Viking Capital of Northumbria) to the old Roman fortress of Deva, to see the Warrior Queen of Mercia, Aethelfraeda, the daughter of Alfred the Great.

Become one of Harald’s Shield Warriors or Shield Maidens and learn about Viking history and their way of life, through an engaging workshop and series of hands on activities in the atmospheric surroundings of Tatton Park’s ancient Old Hall.

This event is most suitable for families with children aged 7-11 years old. 

The event will take place at 10.30 am to 12.00 noon, 1.00 to 2.30 pm 

Tickets cost £15 per person and include parklands and Oldhall entry. 

Sheep Dog Trail On The Farm – To be confirmed

Head to the farm and complete the fun sheepdog trail. 

You will be able to meet and learn more about sheepdogs in the farm’s demonstrations.

If you visit between Friday 7th to Monday 10th of April little ones who complete the trail will be rewarded with a chocolate treat.

Farm entry required.

Please note the farm will not be open on Mondays

Pop Up Easter Market at Tatton Park the Stableyard – To Be Confirmed

Head to the Stableyard to enjoy a pop-up Easter Market.

You will find artisan food producers, local artwork, and beautiful pieces.

There will be stalls of kinds offering artwork, treats for your dog, gifts of all kinds and homewear.

Plus there will be food stalls featuring mouth-watering pies, delicious fudge, and much more.

The Easter Market will be a four day event and will be 10.00am to 5.00pm

Parkland Entry required – see below.
