The Halloween Ghost train has lots of spooky fun in store.

Here is what they have instore

• Enjoy the haunted house walkthrough over the ghoulishly decorated footbridge at Bury, featuring all manner of animatronic creeps and kooks – there will be some jump-scares
• Meet the ELR Monster Squad including, a Vampire called Brian and a goofy Zombie called Bob 
• Ride the steam train with spooky entertainment and music ( approximately 60 minutes)

Make sure you go in your best fancy dress. 

When is the Halloween Ghost Train at East Lancashire Railway for 2025?

This year, the East Lancs Railway Ghost Train will be running on the following days: 

• Thursday 30th October 2025
• Friday 31st October 2025
• Saturday 1st November 2025

Tickets for the Halloween Ghost Train need to be booked in advance and cost: 

• £20.00 to £25.00 for adults
• £14.00 to £17.50 for children 
• Free for under 2’s with a paying adult (specific ticket required).
