Festival of Fright, Parr Fold Park Salford
Enjoy a Halloween Festival in Salford at Parr Fold Park’s Festival of Fright and Scream on the Green with lots of activities .
Join Salford Council and the Friends of Parr Fold Park at these fun Halloween events.
Here is what you need to know:

What is Festival of Fright in Salford?
- Frightful face painting,
- Monster seed planting,
- Gruesome glitter tattoos,
- Skull coconut shy,
- Creepy crafts workshop,
- Spooky storytelling
Plus there will be refreshments on sale.
There will be a small charge for some of the activities above.
Spooky Trail In Parr Fold Park
As part of the Festival of Fright families can take part in the Spooky Trail.
A self-led trail, make your way around Parr Fold Park on the hunt for Halloween Flags.
As you find the flags a sticker to your map for each character you find, once you have completed the spooky trail head to the bandstand to claim your spooky prize.
Maps cost £2.50 including the prize and can be purchased from the Parr Fold Pavillion.
When is the Festival of Fright in Parr Fold Park ?
The Festival of Fright will run on Friday 27th October 2023.
The Spooky Trail will run from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The Festival of Fright activities will be open from 3.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
Scream on the Green In Salford Parr Fold
Along with the Festival of Fright, families can also enjoy Scream on the Green in Parr Fold Park.
The brave-hearted can enjoy a scary walk-through experience.
There will be lots of spooky zones, special effects and scary characters to meet along the way.
The lasts approximately 20 minutes.
When is the Scream on the Green in Parr Fold Park?
The Festival of Fright will run on Friday 27th October 2023.
The event will run from 3.45 pm to 8.30 pm.
It will run at the following set times:
- 3.45 pm
- 4.45 pm
- 5.45 pm
- 6.45 pm
- 7.45 pm
Tickets to Scream on the Green in Parr Fold Park?
There are two types of tickets to Scream On The Green, early bird and standard.
Early bird tickets will be available until Friday 13th October and cost:
- £4.00 for adults
- £4.00 for children
- Free for under 2’s
Standard tickets will be available from Saturday 14th October and cost:
- £6.00 for adults
- £6.00 for children
- Free for under 2’s
