Tameside Bonfire Night Fireworks Display Cancelled
It has been announced one the main Tameside bonfire night events has been cancelled for 2024.
In a statement on Facebook the organisers of The Flowery Fields Cricket Club event announced
‘Due to factors out of our control we have had to cancel the event. Apologies for any inconvenience, we will be back next year with a bang!!!’
The event was due to go ahead on Friday the 1st November – full details of which are below.

The statement comes after Manchester City Council confirmed earlier this month that their Manchester Bonfire Night events would not go ahead .

Flowery Fields Cricket Club Fireworks Display
The Flowery Fields Cricket Club has a lot of bonfire night fun in-store including:
- Firework Display
- Food Vendors
- Indoor and outdoor vendors
When is the Flowery Fields Cricket Club Fireworks Display
The Flowery Fields Cricket Club fireworks display will take place on Friday 1st November 2024.
The gates will open at 6.00 pm
Tickets to the Flowery Fields Cricket Club Fireworks Display
Ticket info has not yet been released but last years tickets cost:
- £2 for adults
- £1 for children (under 12’s).
The event is pay on the door.
