A new Christmas light trail is coming to Heaton Park this December 2023 offering lots of festive family fun.

The new light trail is being brought to Heaton Park by the people behind the annual trail at Dunham Massey.

Christmas Light Trail At Heaton Park

Sony Music/Raymond Gubbay Ltd, the hosts of the Dunham Massey at Christmas event will be bringing a huge Christmas Light Trail to Heaton Park in Manchester.

The park will be transformed into a world of dazzling lights and seasonal music and will be suitable for children of all ages.

The trail will stretch across a mile and families can expect:

Colour changing globes
Large light-up flowers
Neon Strings of lights
A laser garden filled with lots of tiny beams of light
A giant twinkling walk-through tunnel
Colour-changing batons of light
A huge silver star
Star shaped arches
And lots more ….

Plus you might even be able to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas himself.

There will also be a traditional fun fair village where you will be able to purchase an array of seasonal and sweet treats, along with hot and cold drinks.

When is the Christmas Light Trail at Heaton Park?

The Christmas Light Trail will be running at Heaton Park from the 1st to the 31st of December 2023.

Entry is via timed slots at the following times:

4.45 pm
5.00 pm
5.15 pm
5.30 pm
5.45 pm
6.00 pm
6.15 pm
6.30 pm
6.45 pm
7.00 pm
7.15 pm
7.30 pm
7.45 pm
8.00 pm

The light trail won’t be open on 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th and 25th December 2023.

Tickets to the Christmas Light Trail at Heaton Park are divided into Peak and Off Peak.

There are currently early bird tickets on offer for visit dates from the 1st to 10th of December when booked before the 1st of October 2023.

Tickets to the Heaton Park Christmas Light Trail Off Peak tickets cost:

£15.00 for adults (£12.00 on early bird dates)
£10.00 for children (£8.00 on early bird dates)
Free for under 2’s
£47.00 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children (£37.00 on early bird dates)

Tickets to the Heaton Park Christmas Light Trail Peak tickets cost:

£18.00 for adults (£15.00 on early bird dates)
£14.00 for children (£10.00 on early bird dates)
