Enjoy a fun show this summer holidays at Astley Cheetham Gallery, Mavis and Malcolm: Beside The Sea.
The free theatre shows at back at Astley Cheetham Gallery for the summer.
The show will take place on Monday 1st August with two showings.

Free Show – Mavis and Malcolm: Beside The Sea, Astley Cheetham Art Gallery
Join Mavis and Malcolm on a day trip to the beach.
But when Malcolm decides there’s ‘no need to read’ the bus timetable, signpost, and ice cream menu, the day doesn’t go as planned – but that doesn’t mean it won’t be fun.
“Beside The Sea” is a 20-minute interactive play written for 2-4 years olds.
The audience will be able to sing along with Mavis and Malcolm and maybe even join in with a few actions and a bit of Makaton!
Expect :
- ‘The Wheels on the Bus’,
- ‘The Sun Has Got His Hat On’,
- ‘I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside’ and
- ‘I Hear Thunder.’

The show will be taking place at the following times:
- 9.30 am – 10.15 am
- 10.30 am – 11.15 am
- 11.30 am – 12.15 pm
