A FREE community led event by Walk the Plank to get people of all ages creating, making and exploring in Salford.

Fun Palaces is a campaign which aims to promote community at the heart of culture and culture at the heart of community, and Walk the Plank is bringing its exciting programme of events to Salford on the 6th October. 

Families can meet the Bones of Paine puppet (who will also be making an appearance at the Witches Walk later in the month), who wlll be bringing the radical life of Thomas Paine to life. You will also be able to show off your spooky dance moves with the giant “Skelly bobs” puppets, make your own badge with the Salford Victorian Theatre Trust, and get involved with flag making.

Enjoy Spin the pumpkin tombola as part of the Veg show, find out about polluted rivers from the National Trust. Plus families will be able to make their own smoothies, and enjoy a pizza treat from the stone baked pizza over.
