MediaCityUK Ice Rink, Salford
This winter, enjoy some ice rink fun at MediaCityUK, making for the perfect family day out in Salford this Christmas.
The Manchester Ice Rink will be heading to Media City for the first time for Christmas 2019.
Featuring real ice and undercover, families can expect the chance to have fun on the ice where there will be penguins to help the little ones show off their moves.
For those who don’t want to skate or too get warm after you can head to The Retreat, a winter cabin which will be serving hot cider, mulled wine, hot chocolate as well as soft drinks beers and wine.
When will the The Manchester Ice Rink at Media City and Retreat Bar be open?
The Manchester Ice Rink at Media City will be open from the 15th November 2019 at the following times :
· Monday – Friday: 3:00pm – Last Skate Session ends 20:45 (From 10.00am during Christmas school holidays)
· Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am – Last Skate Session ends 21:00
· Student Tickets are only available at the rink from Monday to Thursday up to December 21st. ID must be shown.
The Retreat will be open from 2pm Monday to Friday from the 15th November until the start of the school holidays when it will open from 10am until 10pm until the end of the season.
How much does it cost to skate at The Manchester Ice Rink at Media City
Prices for an hour long skating session are £13 for Adults and £11 for children with a family of four special ticket for just £40.
Students tickets are £10 from Monday to Thursday available only at the rink until the 21st December.
