Teach the kids to grow their own vegetables and bring along their entries to this Community Gardening Festival in Salford.
This event is part of the Irlam and Cadishead Community Festival. If you have grown your own veg, there will be prizes for the most unusual shape, biggest tomato, longest cucumber and longest root on a carrot.
Other categories on the day will include the Best Model Made Out of Veg, The Most Unusual Container, and Best Wild Flower Garden.
