 Get creative at the National Football Museum this October Half Term. 

Join in a great Football Is Art workshop and get your artwork on the walls and learn tp recreate techniques used by top artists so you can master amazing portraits of your footballing icon.

Plus you can strap on the virtual reality headset and get in the game with Rosie Summers’ magnificent VR artwork Future Goals, charting a young girl’s journey from the playground to the international stage, and have a go yourself. Can you paint a ball, a shirt or a player in just ten minutes?

Take part in the Roy of the Rovers comic book workshop. Add your own dramatic plot, fill in the blank panels with your own drawings, and make sure you’re the star on the front cover with our unique sticker-printing technology.

The museum will also be celebrating Black History Month with two talks on the story of Walter Tull, a pioneering footballer for Spurs and Northampton Town who became the British Army’s first mixed-heritage officer. 

And get creative in the Play Gallery and try out a range of tricks and games in fun interactives, sharpening your skills throughout half term and beyond!

Entry to the National Football Musuem is free for City of Manchester residents (with ID) for non residents entry fees apply from £10 for adults, £5 for children 5 to 15 years and under 5’s are free.
