Free February Half Term At the Science and Industry Museum

The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester has lots of free fun going on over February Half Term, here is what they have instore.
This February Half Term head to The Science and Industry Museum for a whole of host of fun.
Along with their usual great exhibitions including the interactive science floor Experiment (see here) they will also be running a host of transport themed free activities including :
Made Up Machines – Over 7’s – 11.00, 11.30, 12.00 and 12.30 Each Day
For children over 7 years , participants can make ordinary objects become extraordinary machines. Working in groups to create a machine that transports goods all the way from the docks of Liverpool to the Manchester markets.
The sessions are free and will run at 11.00, 11.30, 12.00 and 12.30 however tickets need to be booked New Warehouse Information Desk.
Made It Move – Over 3’s – 14.00 – 16.00
Over 3’s can use their imagination to make something that moves, using the challenge cube for inspiration. Then test your creation.
The session is free and drop in.
Construction Packs – Under 4’s – 10.00 – 17.00
Under 4’s can borrow a construction pack from the front desk where your toddlers can measure, band and hammer your way through the museum.
Mini Movers – 2 to 4 years – 11.00 – 13.30 daily
Join in a Makaton-friendly adventure around the musuem as they discover how their bodies can move.
