Cockfields Farm Announce Re-Opening Date

Cockfields Farm have announced their re-opening date and new safety measures. 

The popular play farm located in Ashton Under Lyne has announced that they will be re-opening their doors on 4th July 2020 with a number of new safety measures to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. 

In announcing the re-opening the farm have indicated that “Things may look a bit different as we deal with the Coronavirus Pandemic , but we have implemented the best practice cleaning and handwashing regimes” 

“Some areas may not be able to be used as they once were and some activities may not be running so check out our Facebook page for regular updates.” 

They have also reduced the daily capacity at the farm and are currently only accepting online bookings which you can do on the link below.  

The farm has also been awarded Visit England’s “Good To Go” award meaning that they are following all industry and Government coronavirus guidelines.

What Will Be Open at Cockfields Farm When They Re-Open? 

Although due to the current social distancing rules there will be some changes to the usual farm attractions, Cockfields Farm have confirmed that their Animal Barn and Reptile Room will both be open; giving visitors the chance to meet all the new spring arrivals at the farm including the brand new baby twin goat kids born last week.

In-line with the new government guidelines the farms outdoor play areas will be open with additional safety rules to help keep everyone safe. 

Plus, they will be hosting a Easter in Summer Treasure Hunt with a lovely chocolate egg as prize all included in the ticket price.

The Woolley Jumper Cafe will also be open serving a reduced menu and the farm will have lots of space for picnics and outdoor eating.
