If you own a basset hound, you’re not going to want to miss their festive outing in Salford especially for them (and yes, Santa Paws will be there!).

Why should humans get all the fun at Christmas time? Surely man’s best friend also deserves something special at this time of year? Thankfully the Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain has organised an exciting party to share the festive cheer with basset hounds everywhere. The Xmas Party up North honours the wonderful basset hound, giving the chance for hounds and their owners to get together for an afternoon of festive fun and games…and all for a good cause.

For the special hound in your life, there will be plenty of canine fun with musical mats and other fun games planned for the event. Santa Paws will of course be making an appearance, with gifts for dogs and don’t worry, he will have something for any young children too.

Owners will be able to enjoy a complimentary light buffet and mince pies to help get them in the festive spirit. There will be a raffle, as well as soft and hot drinks available in return for a donation to the Bassets Rescue Network of Great Britain.

Who Are The Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain (BRNGB)

The BRNGB believes all basset hounds should have a loving home, and achieves this by helping re-home basset hounds in need. They also provide support for owners of basset hounds. They have a network of foster homes to help find the best home for each basset hound, and have no income so rely strongly on their volunteers and on donations.

When and Where is the BRNGB Christmas Party?

The Xmas Party Up North will take place on Sunday 8th December 2019 from 12 noon until 4pm at Wags Doggy Day Care Centre which is located at Wardley Industrial Estate in Salford. Tickets can be bought here and cost £11.45 plus booking fee. Children and hounds go FREE.
