Manchester Central Library in Manchester City Centre has a great children’s library and often runs events for families.

The children’s library at Manchester Central Library is library with a difference. Themed on a secret garden, they offer a digital wall where you will see animals pop up or see yourself in the garden in the special projection. 

Of course a library wouldn’t be complete without it’s books and Manchester Central Library has some great choices along with lovely soft reading area that you and children can cuddle up in to read. 

The children are also welcome to use the computers in the children’s area and across the library.

Manchester Central Library has a nursing room and baby changing facilities.

The Cafe in Manchester Central Library has a Cafe on the ground floor offering hot and cold drinks, cakes and local specialities. 

They also have a shop selling a range of gifts, cards, bags, t-shirts and more.

Although Manchester Central Library does not have it’s own car park there are lots of parking options within Manchester City Centre. 

Public Transport to Manchester Central Library

From Manchester Piccadilly you can get the metrolink to the St Peter’s Square stop right outside the Manchester Central Library.
