The Great British Bake Off is casting for a new series of Junior Bake Off. Here’s how you can apply.

Junior Bake Off is on the lookout for talented young bakers aged between 9 to 15 years old.

Junior home bakers wishing to apply must be aged 9 years or over on the 1st June 2021 and younger than 16 years old on 30th September 2021.

Parents or guardians will also need to review and approve the application and be willing to accompany to the filming if successful.

The applicants must also be available for filming from June to September 2021 for up to 14 to 20 days, with precise dates confirmed nearer the time.

How to apply for Junior Bake Off 2021?

To be considered for Junior Bake Off 2021, applicants need to fill out an online application form.

The form includes questions about the young baker’s experience including how long they have been baking; who taught them to bake; what they enjoy about baking; what their favourite thing to bake is and why; about their style of baking and why their baking stands out over other bakers.

They will also need to indicate their experience of making different bakes including biscuits, cakes, bread, pastry, decoration and presentation.

The deadline for applications is 20.59pm on Sunday 28th March 2021 and they have indicated that if you have not heard from them by Friday 21st June 2021 the application has not been successful.
