A list of playgrounds across the Stockport have now re-opened (see below) with all the remaining playgrounds to re-open no later than 17th July 2020.
Stockport Council have announced on their website that “following the government easing of lockdown, work has started to prepare the borough’s 142 play areas for reopening. Safety is our priority and each site will undergo a full safety inspection before opening.”
They have indicated that “signs will be displayed at each site when they’re safe to be used. They will remind parents to promote responsible behaviour, particularly with maintaining social distancing and good hand hygiene. We look forward to our outdoor spaces being used and enjoyed by local people again.”
