The Science and Industry Museum Announces Reopening Date

Manchester’s Science and Industry Museum has announced when they will be reopening their doors with bookable time slots to visit.
The Science and Industry has announced that they are planning to reopen on Friday 14th August 2020 with a new booking system in place.
The popular Manchester museum has indicated that as a ‘safe and enjoyable experience’ is their top priority, they will be asking visitors to book free, timed tickets up to two weeks in advance.
The first tickets will be available to book from Friday 31 July 2020 and the museum are reccomending that you sign up to their mailing list for further booking details.
The museum will also initially only be open Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 5.00pm and their will also be one-way routes will also be in place around the museum to ensure social distancing.
Exhibitions open at the Science and Industry Museum will include the galleries in the New Warehouse, together with the outdoor space in the Upper Yard.
Revolution featuring Manchester’s rich legacy of innovations, discoveries and ideas will also be open along with the Experiment floor with the chance to explore the world of science.
The museum will be serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and cakes which can be enjoyed to eat in or take away at their cafe. Plus visitors will be welcome to bring your own food to enjoy in our picnic areas.
The museum shop will also be open selling a wide range of gifts, books, games, toys and science kits.
