When is Kenyon Hall Farm Open for 2020?
Kenyon Hall Farm has been offering the chance to pick your own fruit and vegetables and has now has over 20 products to choose from throughout the year. Kenyon Hall Farm is usually open for fruit picking from mid June to late August / September for aumtumn raspberries and blackberries. Kenyon Hall Farm has now opened for 2020, however due to new Coronavirus safety measures booking is required. See below.
Keyon Hall Farm has a great farm shop and plant centre currently open, although their cafe is currently closed. However, they are serving take away hot drinks, cakes, ice-creams and light refreshments. The play area is also closed.
The toilets at the farm will be open, they also hand washing and baby chaning facilities.

How much does it cost to pick fruit at Kenyon Hall Farm?
The price of booking will varies depending on what fruit is avaiable to pick. However the farm has given an example of £3 per person to pick strawberry's which includes £3 per person which includes approx 300g of strawberries each. The fruit is charged at Kenyon Hall Farm is charged by the kilogram with different prices for different fruits. Prices per kilo are displayed on the entry to the fields.

Poynton Fruit Farm have announced that they will not be able to open for 2020.
Claremont Farm, The Wirral (Aprox 46 miles, and 1 hour away from Manchester)
Another farm which has been offering pick your own for over 40 years, Claremont Farm usually opens up the fields from mid June until end of July. They are now open for the 2020 season and provide updates of opening times on their facebook page on the link below.
The farm has a farm shop and butchery along with a cafe currently serving take away hot and cold drinks and sweet treats. There are no toilets at the farm.

How much Does it Cost to pick at Claremont Farm?
There is a £4.50 entry fee to Claremont Farm which includes a 1kg punnet. You can also upgrade to 2kg for £9. Extra punnets can be bought.
Claremont Farm is not currently accepting cash only card payments.
Woore Fruit Farm, Crewe (Aprox 47 miles and 1 hour and 10 minutes away from Manchester) CW3 9RE
Woore Fruit Farm based in Crewe is a great place to pick your own fruit. Their 2020 picking season has begun with different fruit ripening daily, which Woore Fruit Farm announce on their Facebook page. See link below.
Along with the strawberries and gooseberries Woore Farm also grows raspberries, redcurrents, black currents and a selection of apples and vegetables.
