Manchester Summer Holidays Free and Cheap Activities Week Five

Get out and about with these great cheap and free summer holiday events in and around Manchester on from 12th to 16th August.
We’ve made it to week three so still four more weeks to entertain the kids. As we know the holidays can prove expensive, we have put together a list of whats on for kids this week for free or cheap in Manchester on week three of the summer holidyas. Giant Frog Trail, Stockport
Discover the 19 individually designed giant frogs hidden around Stockport Town Centre .

£3 Adventure Activities at One Adventure, Droylsden
Head to One Adventure to enjoy a range of activities from Nerf and Laser Tag to archery, axe throwing, caving and more, all for £3 each.

Free Bear Hunt Trail, Lowry Theatre
Head to the Lowry Theatre and enjoy a free trail to find the hidden bears.
Free Summer of Fun, Science and Industry Museum, Manchester City Centre.
The Science and Industry Museum in Manchester has lots of fun planned this summer. They will have daily science shows, story telling, a sun playground, discover the power of plants and lots more. Best of all entry to the musuem is free.

Splash Studio, The Whitworth, Manchester
Enjoy free water experiment play for kids and adults with water tables, waterfalls, and channels.
Free Beach Fun at Merseybay, Merseyway Stockport
Enjoy free entry to the Merseyway beach with the chance to play in the sand. Plus there are children’s rides starting at just £1 per ride.
Barton Beach and Funfair at City Airport, Eccles
This summer the barton beach and fun fair is back. They have a large indoor sandpit, children’s fun fair, donkey’s and more. Although there is a charge, it only costs £5 per child for unlimited rides for a 3 hour session.
Free Giant Beach and Playhouse , Great Northern Warehouse
This summer the Great Northern Warehouse is turning into a giant beach. They have a huge deckchair perfect for pictures, plus a role play playhouse with kitchen, library and pets hospital.
Comic Creations with Roy of the Rovers, National Football Museum, Manchester City Centre
This summer you can create your own comics at the National Football Museum, including writing your own plot, draw your characters and create a great front cover with unique printing technology.
Entry to the musuem is free for Manchester City Centre residents with ID but charges do apply for non residents
Free Giant Beach, Intu Trafford Centre
Kids can enjoy a free giant beach at the Intu Trafford Centre this summer holidays. There will be deck chairs for parents to use and kids can bring there own buckets and spades to enjoy the sand. The beach entry is free however there are some activities for which charges applies.
