Get out and about this October Half Term with these great cheap and free activities in Manchester . 

With the unpredicable weather it is not always easy to keep the kids entertained on a budget. To give you a helping hand we have put together a guide to what is on for free or a small cost in Manchester and surrounding areas.

As some schools in Greater Manchester are off from the 21st to 25th October 2019 and others from 28th October to 1st November 2019 we have listed options for both weeks.

The Science and Industry Museum has lots of free fun instore this October half term from a pedal powere disco, creating a moving robot, atomic juggling, making lampshades and lots more.

October Half Term Activities at National Football Museum – 28th Oct to 1st Nov 2019 

National Football Museum

The National Football Museum have lots of fun instore this October half term. From Football Art workshops, comic book making and designing , virtual reality games and lots more. (Entry to the National Football Musuem is free for City of Manchester residents (with ID) for non residents entry fees apply from £10 for adults, £5 for children 5 to 15 years and under 5’s are free. )
