A list of playgrounds across the borough due to re-open have been released (see below) by Manchester City Council with new rules and safety measures.
The first of the playgrounds will re-open on Saturday 11th July including the popular Heaton Park.
In a statement on their website Manchester City Council have indicated that thhey “have been developing a plan to re-open play areas in a way that will keep you and our staff safe”.
In a statement on their website Manchester City Council have said “things will feel a little different to begin with and there are rules in place to make sure everyone can enjoy them safely” .
They have also requested the publics ‘help’ by respecting social distancing; being prepared with wipes and hand sanitiser and following the one-way systems in place.
Stating that “With your cooperation and support, we can ensure play areas will remain open for children to enjoy”.
