Pumpkin Picking in Manchester 2021
Pumpkin Picking and Festival at Cockfield's Farm, Ashton Under Lyne (approximately 9 miles and 30 minutes from Manchester) OL6 8AR
This Halloween head to Cockfield's Farm for their Pumpkin Festival where you can pick your own pumpkin in their own pumpkin patch which is even bigger this year.
As part of their Halloween Pumpkin Festival, children will be invited to pick their own pumpkin and carve it leaving the mess behind. There will also be a chance to grab the perfect family pic in the pumpkin village, join the Monster Mash Disco, meet reptiles including snakes and lizards, enjoy a tour around the farm on the Cockfields Farm Tractor Ride.
One pumpkin per child will be included in the entrance price. The ticket will include entrance to the farm where cuddle the bunnies and guinea pigs, hand-feed the barn animals, unlimited rides on the fairground carousel and lots more.
Cockfield's Farm will also be running their toddler pumpkin festival mid week, term time.
Dunham Massey Ice Cream Farm Pumpkin Patch, Dunham Massey Ice Cream Farm, (approximately 16 miles and 29 minutes from Manchester) WA14 5SG
It has been confirmed that pick your own pumpkin will be back in Trafford at the Dunham Pumpkin Patch this year from 2nd to 31st October 2021.

Brookheys Farm Pumpkin Picking, Dunham Massey (Approximately 17 miles and 32 minutes from Manchester) WA14 5SY
Head to Brookheys Farm Dunham Massey to pick your own pumpkin for 2021. Running on every weekend in October then everyday from the 23rd to 31st October 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The Brookheys Farm at Dunham Massey Pumpkin patch is drop-in and free entry.
Kenyon Hall Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkins, Warrington (approximately 18 miles and 30 minutes from Manchester) WA3 7ED
Kenyon Hall Park has confirmed that they will be back for 2021 and tickets are now on sale. The pumpkin season will run from 1st to 31st October 2021 and will include access to the Outdoor Pumpkin Patch with over 15,000 pumpkins, the backdrop for pictures and more. Tickets to enter the pumpkin patch cost £2 per adult and child and do not include a pumpkin which will cost £1.50 depending on size.
The farm also boasts a lovely cafe and on-site parking and has a pumpkin carving area.
Woodland Pumpkin Picking at Haigh Woodland Park, Wigan (approximately 18 miles and 30 minutes from Manchester) WA3 7ED
Haigh Woodland Park will be giving you the chance to pick your own pumpkin, pose for pictures, meet spooky characters and watch their show along with the chance to carve your pumpkin.
Tickets cost £5 per person including your pumpkin and must be booked in advance.
Pumpkin Picking At Smithhills Open Farm, Bolton (approx 28 miles and 42 minutes away from Manchester) BL1 7NS
Bolton at Smithhills Open Farm will be running on the 16th and 17th and 23rd to 31st October, Smithhills pumpkin picking extravaganza will give you the chance to pick your own pumpkin in the woods.
Head along in fancy dress to have your picture taken with Zombie farmers, pumpkins and scarecrows.
Tickets cost £5 per pumpkin to pick, adults are free unless picking a pumpkin.
The Hayloft / Sandy Lane Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkin, Bold (approx 23 miles and 40 minutes away from Manchester) WA8 3XP
Sandy Lane Farm pumpkin patch have confirmed that they will be running their pumpkin patch starting on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th September 2021 from 10.00 am. Then every day from 2nd to 31st October 2021 (excluding Friday 8th and 15th October).
This year they will be offering after school and twilight pumpkin picking until 7.00 pm.
The sessions are drop-in and no booking is required. However, they will close if the patch does get too busy. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page for details.
They will also be running a spooky maze, tractor rides, miniature railway, and their coffee shop will be open serving hot drinks and treats. There will also be a chance to pick your own Sweetcorn.
The Hayloft at Sandy Lane Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkin is located at Sandy Lane, Bold, WA8 3XP.
Libby's Pumpkin Patch, Macclesfield (approx 26 miles and 26 minutes away from Manchester) SK11 9RS
Running from the 2nd to 31st October. Libby's Pumpkin Patch has a wide range of pumpkins to pick and is open 10.00am to 4.00pm
They also offer photo opportunities, free parking and have an on-site cafe.
Tickets to enter cost £2.50 per car and booking is required.
Roby Mill Pumpkin Patch, Wigan (approx 40 miles and 50 minutes away from Manchester) WN8 0QY
The Roby Mill Pumpkin Patch will run every day from the 8th to 31st October 2021.
They will have a wide choice of pumpkins and minikins with prices starting from £2.
There will also be an onsite coffee van serving hot drinks, snacks and cakes.
Entry is free however tickets are required for weekend visits and during half term from 25th to 29th October 2021.
Pumpkin Alley Pick Your Own, Omskirk, (approx 43 miles and 55 minutes away from Manchester) L39 7LS
Pumpkin Alley (previously Popular Farm) have announced their pumpkin patch will be back for 2021 opening on the 1st October 2020.
No booking required but please keep an eye on their Facebook page in case they run out.
Along with Pumpkin Picking, there will be a cake shack serving food and drink.
Pumpkin Alley Pick Your Own Pumpkin is located Bye Lane, Downholland, Ormskirk, L39 7LS
Bellis Brothers, Wrexham (approx 51 miles and 1 hour away from Manchester) LL13 9YU.
Bellis Brothers have confirmed that they will be reopening their pumpkin patch for 2021. The Pumpkin Patch will be open during weekends from Saturday 9th October to Sunday 24th October, then daily from Monday 25th to Sunday 31st October 2021.
Along with being able to pick your own pumpkin, there will also be a Spooky Maize (£2.00 entry). Pumpkin prices start at £2 each.
Tickets are required to enter the patch which can be booked from 9am Wednesday 29th September 2021. Tickets are free with only one ticket per car required. The patch will be 10am to 5pm (The last entry to the Spooky Maize Maze is 4pm)
Bellis Brothers Pumpkin picking is located at Wrexham Road Farm, Wrexham Rd, Holt Village, Wrexham LL13 9YU.
Malpas Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch (approx 59 miles and 1 hour and 20 m minutes away from Manchester) SY13 4RB
Running on weekends from 9th to 17th October then every day from 23rd to 31st October 2021 (on 31st October the patch will close at 1.00pm), enter the Maize Maze where you will find a new hidden pumpkin patch and photo prop village. Plus there will be over 100 scarecrows to spot and a Harry Potter `Area.
Fancy dress is welcome, and there is a cafe and Halloween shop on site along with a bouncy castle and mini toy diggers (charges apply)
Entry to the Maise Maze costs £2. Pumpkins are priced at £2.00 for small, £3.50 for regular and £6.50 for giant pumpkins!
