A Day Out With Thomas is back at East Lancashire Railway

Thomas & Friends are heading back to East Lancashire Railway in Greater Manchester for 2021. 

East Lancashire Railway in Bury have announced that Sodor’s number one tank engine and the Fat Controller will be heading back to the station.

The famous blue steam train for a magical ride on Thomas the Tank Engine and friends will be at the Greater Manchester attraction on 7th and 8th August and 2nd and 3rd October . 

The Day Out With Thomas at East Lancashire Railway will give you the chance to meet Sir Topham Hatt at the station, say hello to Thomas on the platform.

It will be then time to climb aboard a carriage ready for  Thomas to pull your train through the amazing countryside on a fun-filled journey to our Ramsbottom station. After a quick break a dazzling diesel trains will pull you and Thomas back to Bury Bolton Street with the round trip taking 45 minutes. 

You can then head into Bury Transport Museum for more Thomas-themed activities, including stories, activities and hilarious performances by Rusty and Dusty – Sodor’s cheeky station sweepers. They’ll be singing, dancing and entertaining throughout the day.

Plus you will be able to enjoy a socially distanced Magic Shows for the whole family, all included with your ticket.

Tickets need to be booked in advance and cost £60.00 for a table of up to four people, children under 2 years are free ( plus a £6.00 booking fee)  and £35 for a table of up to two people, children under 2 years are free (plus a £3.50 booking fee).
